Tourism Selangor's WTD 2021 Celebration
Tourism Selangor, Malaysia is an official tourism promotion agency for the state of Selangor with the mission of attracting local and international tourists to Selangor, Malaysia by raising the profile of the State.
Tourism Selangor are glad to be involved with World Tourism Day 2021 as we believe that with the World Tourism Day 2021 theme – Tourism for Inclusive Growth, whereby tourism sector in Selangor has significant potential for the growth of the State as well as Malaysia. Also, Tourism Selangor has the prominent social media platforms to strive better and staying ahead with nowadays trend which includes Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. Furthermore, Tourism Selangor are gearing up towards Tourism Digitalization especially after severely affected by Covid-19. It is the move to a digitalization in adapting to new normal trends.
As a part of official tourism agency, Tourism Selangor initiative includes live talk for the grand opening, special tour of “Pusing Selangor Dulu Virtual Tour” where it will take everyone to enjoy amazing places in Selangor virtually. There will also be a webinar and Instagram live with media group to share enriching and inspiring travel experience. The initiatives also include in publications of media release which it will be broadcast in Malaysia. The effort of Tourism Selangor participating in World Tourism Day 2021 also include in producing multiple selections of artworks and videos. The promotional material will be distributed in Tourism Selangor social media platform in order to be more stand out and engage with audiences.
Tourism Selangor are proud and strong to stand together with United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in supporting the World Tourism Day 2021 as well as the growth of tourism sector although from afar. Tourism Selangor play an important role as part of tourism agency which will continuously support in boosting up the tourism sector.
