2021 Mekong Innovations in Sustainable Tourism - World Tourism Day Forum
On October 6-7, the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office and Destination Mekong together will host virtual 2021 Mekong Innovations in Sustainable Tourism - World Tourism Day Forum event under the theme of “Innovation leading to Inclusive Growth” to bring four Destination Mekong initiatives together:

Mekong Innovations in Sustainable Tourism (MIST)
Mekong Heroes
Mekong Faces
Mekong Youth
We look to hold our 2021 MIST Forum virtually to witness the pitching of our 2021 finalists of the EMS and MIST programs. This is very exciting and a chance for everybody to witness these innovative enterprises and ventures showcase how sustainability and resilience will transform travel and tourism in the Mekong Region in the future, post pandemic. We will also announce the 2021 Mekong Hero, who will join the 2020 Mekong Heroes Hall of Fame, and showcase some of our diverse and inspiring Mekong Faces and Mekong Youth.
