The Committee on Tourism and Competitiveness convened in its 14th Meeting on 23 January 2024 at UN Tourism Headquarters in Madrid, Spain, on the sidelines of FITUR 2024.

UN Tourism has opened applications for the 2024 edition of its “Best Tourism Villages” initiative on January 24th.

In a display of creativity and technological prowess, the second iteration of the Tourism Hackathon Nigeria unfolded at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos from September 6th to 7th, 2023. Organized by Bedouin Group as part of the Hack for Tomorrow initiative, the event set out to redefine Nigeria's tourism landscape through the power of technology.
