UNWTO has welcomed a pledge made by tourism leaders at the Adventure Next Latin America summit to realign the sector along a path of greater resilience and sustainability.
Tourism’s central role in advancing the Blue Economy was highlighted as UNWTO chaired a special session and joined a Heads of State panel at the One Ocean Summit, hosted by the French Presidency this week.
The UNWTO Regional Support Office for Asia and the Pacific and the Japan Tourism Agency will hold a Symposium on Raising Awareness of Tourism Crisis Management, including Sharing Case Studies and Communication Plan.
