The global meeting of the UNWTO International Network of Sustainable Tourism Observatories (INSTO) will take place on 20 and 21 October 2022 at UNWTO Headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

Participants of this year's event can attend the meeting in person, otherwise remote participation is also possible.

Due to limited space, in-person attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to i) INSTO members, ii) those in the process of becoming members, and iii) destinations with a clear interest in establishing an observatory, as well as iv) UNWTO Member States and v) UNWTO Affiliate Members.

As in the past, this meeting will provide an opportunity for already established observatories, interested destinations and other tourism stakeholders, to share experiences, learn about best practices and jointly advance in the monitoring efforts at the destination level in these current challenging and uncertain times.
