The UNWTO Executive Training Course in the United Arab Emirates on Leadership in Tourism  finished on 3rd November

 

With twenty-eight participants from Bahrain, Egypt, Kingdom of the Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan, Qatar and UAE, the UNWTO Executive Training Course in the United Arab Emirates on Leadership in Tourism, organized by the World Tourism Organization, its UNWTO.Themis Foundation and the Ministry of Economy of UAE (MOE), was closed on 3rd November by H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy of United Arab Emirates and Omar Valdez, Executive Director of UNWTO.Themis Foundation, with presence of MOE and UNWTO.Themis members and the facilitators.

 

This Executive Training Course has provided participants with the tools to lead themselves, others and teams more effectively, which enables better results for all parties. Participants were able to develop a greater awareness of self and their impact on others, discover how to motivate others more effectively, and lead teams. Upon successful completion of this capacity building programme, participants were able to understand better themselves and their colleagues and their behaviours; sense what each situation is calling for and how they can make a difference. They were able to develop more effective relationships with other participants and really motivate themselves by understanding what has to be present to develop a high-performance team and develop their own leadership development plan for the coming years.
