2nd UNWTO Conference on Shopping Tourism
In recent years, tourism has experienced continued growth and profound diversification to become one of the economic sectors with the highest growth rate in the world. Mindful of this, the UNWTO Affiliate Members Programme has launched a serie of initiatives to fully harness the potential shopping has to offer and foster public-private parternships.
In line with the above, UNWTO organized the 2nd UNWTO Conference on Shopping Tourism, held once again in the framework of Fitur Shopping on 22 January 2016. The Conference presented insights from leading shopping tourism stakeholders, offering insight from both from the public and private sectors, representing different levels of the value chain.
