2nd International Forum on the Integration of Tourism and Emergency Management

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Australian Emergency Management Institute (AEMI) and the University of Technology-Sydney (UTS) have the pleasure to announce their joint event: 2nd International Forum on the Integration of Tourism and Emergency Management.

This forum follows last year's succesfull event, which was held In 2011, at the headquarters of AEMI at Mt Macedon, Victoria, in Australia. The upcoming forum is essentially both a follow on and an advance on the theme of cooperative policy, strategy and practice between the public and private sectors of the tourism industry and government and private sector emergency management agencies.

The forum will highlight the results of work commissioned by the UNWTO and undertaken by Bournemouth University (UK) on the integration of emergency management and tourism as well as will also feature best practice in Australian and international initiatives.

The forum fee is Aus$360, which includes the forum, proceedings and meals (while in session), including the forum dinner on Thursday 20 September.
