Context:

Within the collaboration framework between UN Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism in the Seychelles, a dynamic gathering of key players in the tourism industry recently came together for insightful sessions in different parts of the country for the development of the tourism sector. UN Tourism's current mission aims to craft a strategic roadmap for human resource development within our vibrant tourism sector.

Highlights:

The session in Mahe, in presence of Mrs. Sherin Francis, Principal Secretary for Tourism, alongside the team of the Tourism Department and other sector partners, sparked a fantastic exchange of ideas, engaging various stakeholders to refine the strategy and gather valuable input before the final presentation. Similarly productive discussions were also achieved in the subsequent sessions held in Praslin and La Digue.

Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to shape the future of Seychelles tourism!
