Hosted by renowned historian, Dr. Sam Willis, a two-episode documentary on the Silk Road was produced by the BBC in collaboration with UNWTO.  Focused on the arts, heritage and culture of the Silk Road, the series features the Silk Road countries of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkey, Italy and China. With broadcasting started in May 2016, the programme will be seen both in the UK and by the 152 million subscribers in 120 territories on BBC World.
