During the 58th meeting of the UNWTO Regional Commission for the Americas, held in Port-au-Prince on 20 May 2015, ten Haitian companies signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism. 

On 20 March 2015, twelve Honduran associations signed the Private Sector commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the Official visit of the Secretary-General. 

Twelve Guatemalan associations signed the Private Sector commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the Official visit of the UNWTO Secretary-General on 17 March 2015. 

Mr. Martin Buck, Director of Travel & Logistics ITB Berlin, signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics during ITB Berlin 2015, in Berlin, Germany, on 6 March 2015. 

Fourteen Argentine associations signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the Closing of the working session of the Argentine Chamber of Toursim, held in San Carlos de Bariloche, on 4 December 2014.

On the occasion of the China International Tourism Forum, ten Chinese companies signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics, in Shanghai, China, on 14 November 2014.

Eight associations from Argentina, Croatia, Finland, Malaysia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden, signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the 2nd Summit of Presidents of Travel Agencies Associations, held in Zagreb, Croatia, on 6 November 2014.

Mr. Richard Mortimore, CEO of Reed Exhibitions UK, signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics during the World Travel Market 2014, in London, United Kingdom, on 3 November 2014.

Mr. Marek Harbuľák, President of the Slovak Tourism Association, signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics during the Official Visit of the Secretary-General to Slovakia, in Bratislava, Slovakia, on 29 October 2014.

During the Official Inauguration of the International Tourism Fair in Paraguay (FITPAR) 2014, thirteen Paraguayan associations signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics, in Asunción, Paraguay, on 9 October 2014.
