On behalf of Air Malta, the company's CEO, Mr. Joseph Galea, signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics in the presence of Mr. Taleb Rifai, UNWTO Secretary-General, in Valletta, Malta, on 24 May 2017.

On behalf of Triip.me, the company's CEO and co-founder, Mr. Ho Viet Hai, signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics in the presence of Mr. Taleb Rifai, UNWTO Secretary-General, and Mr. Mario Hardy, Chief Executive Officer of PATA. The signing was held in the framework of the Annual Summit of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) in Negombo, Sri Lanka, on 19-20 May 2017.

On the occasion of UNWTO Masterclass on "Attracting Chinese Tourism to the Mediterranean Countries" which was held in Valletta, Malta, six Maltese entities signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics on 24 May 2017 in the presence of Mr. Taleb Rifai, UNWTO Secretary-General.
