During the 16th World Committee on Tourism Ethics, Mr. Henri Giscard d'Estaing, President of Club Méditerranée and Mr. Hiran Cooray, Chairman of Sri Lankan company Jetwing Hotels signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics, in Paris, France, on 16 November 2015.

Mr. Juan Molas Marcellas, President of Confederación Española de Hoteles y Alojamientos Turísticos (CEHAT), signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism, at the UNWTO Headquarters in Madrid, Spain, on 7 July 2015. 

Five Maldivian companies and associations signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the 27th CAP-CSA joint meeting and the UNWTO Regional Ministerial Conference, held in the Maldives on 3 June 2015. 

During the 58th meeting of the UNWTO Regional Commission for the Americas, held in Port-au-Prince on 20 May 2015, ten Haitian companies signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism. 

On 20 March 2015, twelve Honduran associations signed the Private Sector commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the Official visit of the Secretary-General. 

Twelve Guatemalan associations signed the Private Sector commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the Official visit of the UNWTO Secretary-General on 17 March 2015. 

Mr. Martin Buck, Director of Travel & Logistics ITB Berlin, signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics during ITB Berlin 2015, in Berlin, Germany, on 6 March 2015. 

Fourteen Argentine associations signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism during the Closing of the working session of the Argentine Chamber of Toursim, held in San Carlos de Bariloche, on 4 December 2014.

On the occasion of the China International Tourism Forum, ten Chinese companies signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics, in Shanghai, China, on 14 November 2014.
