Think Tank on Talent in Wine Tourism
The Think Tank on Talent in Wine Tourism took place on 23-24 March 2023, ahead of the 7th UNWTO World Conference on Wine Tourism scheduled to be held on 22-24 November 2023, in Haro (La Rioja), Spain.
Jointly organized by the Government of La Rioja and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain, in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization, this event was foreseen as a 2-day event: the first day as a closed meeting of key relevant experts in the sector, as well as representatives from wine tourism territories from around the world; the second as a series of sessions open to the public, that gave participants the opportunity to further explore the issues addressed during the first day, as well as to share and exchange ideas interactively.
The Think Tank's main objective was to address the current situation of wine tourism training at the international level and to identify the specific training needs to respond to the demands of the sector in the coming years.
