63rd Meeting of the UNWTO Regional Commission for Europe
The 63rd Meeting of the UNWTO Commission for Europe (CEU), will be held between 11-13 June 2018, in Prague, Czech Republic. The meeting will be opened by Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and H.E. Ms. Klára Dostálová, Minister for Regional Development of the Czech Republic. It will count with the presence of the European high-level government representatives responsible for tourism, private sector tourism stakeholders and representatives of the academia.
The annual statutory meeting will provide an excellent occasion to delegates to discuss the priority areas of the European Member States and how these are addressed within the framework of the Organization’s new Programme of Work and vision. Moreover, the meeting will also include a presentation and a strategic discussion on “Fostering innovation ecosystem and digitalization in tourism”, looking at how to make the European tourism industry more competitive through digital tools, skills and networks.
