The World Tourism Organization is organizing the first expert Consultation on technical elements of event and travel advisories. This workshop aims to improve the relevancy, efficiency, transparency of information related to negative events, and to help limiting their undesired repercussions by focussing on:

• Georeferencing standards of event related information
• Time stamps and expiry dates of event related information
• Machine-readable and retrievable information mechanism

The meeting will be held in English.
