TripAdvisor Travel Trends for the Silk Road 2016
TripAdvisor 2016 Travel Trends for the Silk Road is a specialised report issued by UNWTO Affiliate Member TripAdvisor. Officially launched during the 6th UNWTO Silk Road Task Force Meeting in Iran in 2016, the research is based on a survey of 18,425 travellers from APAC and non-APAC countries. The research was conducted in collaboration with UNWTO.
Among interesting findings, it shows that 8 in 10 travellers have heard of the Silk Road, and that 41% of travellers would be more likely to travel to the Silk Road if they could obtain a single Silk Road visa.
