Winners' names of the Silk Road Bloggers Challenge released

UNWTO and WTM London are happy to announce the winners of the 2012 Silk Road Bloggers Ch@llenge:

 Nailah Hayward of There’s So Much to See for her piece on Lebanese moghrabieh

Jonathan Powell of The Flaneur for his post, I Want to Eat in Armenia.

Congratulations to both of them for their nice work. Both blogs have best captures the essence of the Silk Road while captivating the readers, offering high quality content and  good pictures.

The judges said that Nailah's blog "seemed passionate….what a blog should be" and had "good pictures". They added that Jonathan was "a good writer with prolific output" and had a "successful blog with a decent audience".

The two winners will be enjoying an all-expenses paid trip to Armenia, sponsored by the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia, with tours of some of the country's best attractions.

The Silk Road Bloggers Ch@llenge was hosted by UNWTO and WTM London and run from 1 to 30 November 2012. It was open to bloggers from around the world.
