Thanks to a recent partnership of our Affiliate Member Amadeus with Conferma travel agents can now use a virtual credit card payment system to automate hotel billbacks.

A virtual credit card at the time of booking, which is automatically communicated to the hotel to guarantee the reservation. The virtual credit card number is included in the hotel reservation request and transmitted to the hotel chain, thereby ensuring that the customer, consultant, hotel chain and hotel property have consistent and correct payment information. At checkout, the card is charged by the hotel and automatically reconciled with the TMCs back office for tracking and reporting. This process is totally seamless and is offered in conjunction with Barclaycard, American Express, Airplus, HSBC, MasterCard and more shortly.
