In addition to the several activities organized from many local boards and organizations, the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia celebrates the World Tourism Day with the conference “Tourism, an important resource and a project to grow together”. It will be held at the “Sala di Rappresentanza” of the Palazzo of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia by the Piazza Unità d'Italia in Trieste from 10am. Moreover we have coming up with a new slogan “PROUD TO BE A TOURIST” in order to underline that the term “tourist” must be use never again with a negative value. Tourists are curious, open to the world and to other people. Open-minded people are a resource for nations and they should be taken into cosideration.
