Wheelchair accessible walk Time: 10:00-12:00 Itinerary: Pécs Point – Széchenyi Sq. – Janus Pannonius St. – Cella Septichora – Dóm Sq. – Cathedral – Káptalan St. – Szepesy St. – Pécs Point Free walk, but advance registration is required. Please note that it is an outdoor walk and does not include the admission fees of the attractions. Walk for the deaf and hard of hearing, with sign language interpreter Time: 14:00-16:00 Itinerary: Pécs Point – Széchenyi Sq. – Janus Pannonius St. – Cella Septichora – Dóm Sq. – Cathedral – Káptalan St. – Szepesy St. – Pécs Point Guided walk led by a tourguide, accompanied by a sign lnguage interpreter. T.: +36 72 212 632, +36 72 511 486 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Programmes offered by the Diocese of Pécs Cathedral 14.00 – Sign language tour in the Cathedral 15.00 – Special tour for the blind and the visually impaired Meeting point: the southern gate of the Cathedral. Sighted people are also welcome, their eyes will be blindfolded. Participants will get acquainted with the history and symbols of the cathedral by touching the elaborately wrought bronze gate and 3D models of the crypt. Mosque of Pasha Gazi Kasim 16.00 - Sign language tour in the Mosque Episcopal Treasury 17.00 – hands-on activities for kids The activities designed around the animal representations of the cathedral familiarize participants with the basics of sign language, and by touching some of the liturgical objects of the Treasury kids will be introduced to the liturgic ceremony, the structure and details of liturgy. Recommended for ages 7-14. All events are free, but registration is required. Maximum number of participants of each programme is 10-15. Programmes offered by Pécs Zoo 14:00-15:00 and 15:15-16:15 Sign language tour at the Pécs Zoo, encounters with the old and new species of the Zoo. On 27 September all ticket types can be purchased with a 50% discount. Entry to the Zoo is free for people living with disabilities. Maximum number of participants of each sign language tour is 30, participation is possible with advance registration at firstname.lastname@example.org.
