Dhaka University Tourist Society is going to organize a colorful rally on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2012 on 27th September in collaboration of Ministry of Civil Aviation & Tourism, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Scouts, Rovers and many other organizations. The rally will be colorful through different mascots of Royel Bengal Tiger, Deers and Magpie Robin and people will wear musk on their faces. There will be display of Bangladeshi traditional cultural with King-Queen,Bride-Groom,Jaminder-Jamindarni,Paik-Peyada,Farmer-Farmer Wife,Baul–Baulni,Bede-Bedeni,Religious Culture and many more. Hon'ble Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Muhammad Faruk Khan, Vice-Chancellor of University of Dhaka A A M S Arefin Siddique, Chairman of BTB and BPC and many other hon'ble persons of Bangladesh are going to join the rally. Participants of the will be given T-shirts, Caps and Refreshments and also participants may get musk, flutes and other things. After the rally in the afternoon, a debate competition will be held at Teacher and Student Center (TSC), University of Dhaka on the issue that "Tourism can be a way of self-reliance for the young generation". Dhaka University Tourist Society (DUTS) is students volunteer organization under University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Here we promote and create people's awareness about the tourism sector of Bangladesh.
