The Tourism Council of Bhutan in collaboration with Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators,Guides Association of Bhutan and other stakeholders will be observing the World Tourism Day on the 27 September 2012 at the Clock Tower,Thimphu.The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Bhutan,Lyonpo Sonam Tobgye will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Ministers,Senior Government Officials and Resident Representatives of International and National Organizations will be attending the event. In keeping with the theme and looking towards a sustainable energy future and the health of our people and the planet,the main event for the day will be a cycling competition for the school students of Thimphu,around the city limits.More than 50 students from around Thimphu will be participating in the event.
