Pokhara Tourism Council celebrating World Tourism Day with a theme of UNWTO "1 billion tourists 1 billion opportunities". Similar to past years and continuation of our hospitality approach, Council has decided to celebrate the same on this day. The guest who arrives first in Pokhara by air or surface will be welcomed with vip reception. They will be received with Nepali traditional musical team (Nau Mati Baja) in the airport and bus park and garlanded. He or she will be the guest of honor of Pokhara Tourism Council and become a distinguished guest of that night and hoisting a gala dinner. The local site seeing and day hiking will be other events of this welcome and World Tourism Day 2015 celebration. An interaction program and participation in Gadura Air Festival on 26th & 27th of September organized by NAA. They will also be provided with a free bus ticket from Pokhara to Kathmandu. At this moment of tourism crisis in Nepal and after an earthquake tremor and political unrest in the country, this celebration will definitely carry a message of Pokhara is Safe
