Wakayama University WTD Forum on Developing Tourism Education
Welcome to the Wakayama University(WU), the only Japanese National University to offer tourism studies through to a PhD. WU will celebrate the Wourld Tourism Day in 2015 through holding the special forum on "Developing Tourism Education". This forum consists of special profound lectures as below. "Tourism Education: Trends in Asia and the Pacific" -Mr. Mario Hardy --Chief Executive Officer, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) "Tourism and higher education; Nurturing leadership for one billion opportunities" -Prof. Richard Sharpley --Professor, Central Lancashire University --Deputy Director and University Professor, Center for Tourism Research, WU WU will establish the Center for Tourism Research(CTR) in April 2016!
