State Department of Tourism under Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2012 holds a press conference dedicated to importance of sustainable tourism. The director of State Department of Tourism Raimonda Balniene, representative of Baltic Enviromental Forum Vaida Pilibaityte and director of the hotel, which has Green Key eco-label, Kestutis Kazlauskas will have a word. Afterwords the excursion presenting advantages of "green" hotel will take place. At 12.00 organizers will link live to stream of WTO Think Tank and suggest for all participants to listen and discuss this year Worl Tourism Day topic. Also a special poster will be presented at the conference reminding the main principles of the World Tourism Organisation Global Code of Ethics for Tourism. Celebrations of World Tourism Day will be also organised by every Tourism Information Center in whole country. Besides, encouraged by State Department of Tourism, most of countries academic institutions, which offer degree in tourism, will provide the possibility for the students link live to stream of WTO Think Tank during their lecture.
