As a parallel celebration of World Tourism Day, Student of University of Colombo following Tourism study programmes launched 1000 tree planting project under the theme of "Let's make tourism Greener" . Event took place at Baddagana Wetland Park in Kotte with the participation of minister of Megapolice Mr Patali Champika Ranawaka & Ms Otara Gunawardane. Main purpose was to raise the awareness among the local community on the nature's contribution towards the survival of tourism industry.
