This exhibition for the World Tourism Day is going to show a "journey". A group of students will simulate/showcase a take-off, landing and welcome to a destination by plane. In the entrance you can visit virtually some of the worlds most famous places through a green screen. Several of our International students will tell about their home country. The goal is to highlight tourism as a business and as a study program at University Collage of Southeast-Norway. Futhermore, to promote Norway and other countries such as Georgia and Kyrgyzstan have to offer as tourist destinations. This kind of experience is one of several ways of what we call Universal accessibility. This year’s World Tourism Day help to spread the word of both the importance and immense benefits universal accessibility has and can bring to society at large. At some point in our lives, sooner or later, we all benefit of universal accessibility in tourism.
