You will be pleased to know that the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Victoria University of Bangladesh is going to arrange a Tourism Rally to celebrate the World Tourism Day 2014, on September 27. The key objective of this Tourism Rally is to highlight the possibilities of community development through sustainable tourism. Our motivation behind arranging this rally is to promote potential yet overlooked tourist destinations of our country. The rally will start at sharp 8 AM with a successful inauguration by the chief guest, from the main campus of Victoria university of Bangladesh at Panthapath, and will end up at Central Shaheed Minar. More than two hundred students of the department will participate in this celebration. Participating students will carry colorful placards, banners and festoons containing different slogans for creating tourism awareness. This celebration rally has been arranged solely by the students and the faculty members of the aforementioned department under the supervision of the Department Coordinator.
