In this third annual edition, the One Planet - Sustainable Tourism Programme magazine presents the highlights of the network’s activities from 2017 to 2018. As the rebranded One Planet network mandated with a new five year strategy, this publication spotlights the four principle tenets of the Kasane Call to Action on Sustainable Tourism: Lead, Innovate, Finance, Empower and presents the achievements on the ground under each action lever. This year’s edition pays special attention to the advances in leading-edge technology championing circular economy practices and scaling up sustainable consumption and production patterns in the tourism sector, in alignment with SDG12 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
