UNWTO & WTM Ministers' Summit 2019: Technology for Rural Development
The UNWTO & Ministers' Summit will provide a truly practical platform for tourism leaders of the public and private sectors to share best practices and explore investment opportunities.
After a successful restructure last year, we continue to present our existing new format which encourages open discussions and innovations. With the private sector crucial in setting the tourism agenda, we invite private ector leaders to a panel, followed by a round table where they will be joined by ministers.

Innovation and technology can have a central role in bridging the divide between urban and rural communities. Following the panel of experts, Ministers of Tourism will discuss strategies and policies in tourism to include more competitive and inclusive technologies that empower communities and foster sustainable development.
