The Observatory will be developed by the Algarve Tourism Board in partnership with the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission and the Algarve University with the support of Turismo de Portugal.

MISSION
The Observatory aims to create a solid collaboration model that allows the colleaction of sustainable indicators and their continuous monitoring in order to produce new knowledge that supports the decision-making processes with a view to make the Algarve a competitive tourism region, recognized by the quality of its offer and sustained growth.
Current Monitoring Processes
The Observatory is currently in a start-up phase. It is intended to systematize various sources of data while defining others in need in order to produce and transfer information/knowledge.
