2nd Conference on Destination Management in the Mediterranean

The World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro hold the 2nd Conference on Destination Management in the Mediterranean in Budva, Montenegro (22-24 June 2015).

OUTCOME:

The Conference created a collaborative platform on which the Mediterranean destinations jointly explored the keys to success in the process of enhancing competitiveness and achieving a high "quality visitor experience" of the Mediterranean which represents one of the most important tourism regions in the world and accounts for one in three international tourists worldwide and over a quarter of total tourism receipts.
