WORLD TOURISM FORUM
The World Tourism Forum is a London based research institution and a collaboration platform dedicated to create added value through strategic intelligence, and holds prominent industry events with industry stakeholders by addressing the challenges for the travel industry.
Aim is to empower world leaders to better shape the future of the world economy through tourism. World Tourism Forum sets its sight on integrating public-private initiatives, international organizations and academic institutions into a common effort to achieve maximum impact for development. World Tourism Forum effectively address common global problems only through the power of hospitality industry. Since its founding, the World Tourism Forum has developed a powerful platform engaging the global audience. It has also served as a place for private dialogue and reflecting capacity of tourism in economic development.
Each World Tourism Forum Event is stewarded by public and private-sector leaders who provide insight into key drivers and interconnections between particular issues. The previous World Tourism Forum events hosted President of the French Republic François Hollande (2012-2017), 11th European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Home and Foreign Secretary of UK Jack Straw (1997-2006), CEO of International Rescue Committee David Miliband, President of the Republic of Angola João Lourenço, and a considerable amount of ministers and opinion leaders.
